Maytag Washer MAV5000AWW on spin cycle loosing it speed, doesn't dry closes well enough. What's a problem?

It's top loading Maytag Washer MAV5000AWW approximately 8 years old. On spin cycle loosing it speed, doesn't dry closes well enough so we have to spin it over and over again. What's a common problem? I replaced transmission, motor, pulley and belt. Still doesn't spin fast.Maytag Washer MAV5000AWW on spin cycle loosing it speed, doesn't dry closes well enough. What's a problem?
Sounds like your drive clucth is worn... This is similar to a clutch in a car, and if you've ever driven a car with a bad clutch you'll know that it doesn't matter how much gas you give it, the car won't move... Same principle with a washer, when the drive clutch gets worn it just doesn't grab hard enough to spin a tub full of clothes...Maytag Washer MAV5000AWW on spin cycle loosing it speed, doesn't dry closes well enough. I think this is a common problem (maybe related to the pump???). Have you tried www.repairclinic.com? They helped me find the problem with my stove and dryer.
sounds like the waterpump to me....
Could be belt slipping. Unplug, get behind washer, if there is a inspection plate remove it. Find belt, find belt adjustment screw. loosen screw, pull belt tight using hammer handle on motor to pry. (do not over tighten) While holding tension on motor tighten the adjustment screw...
